Olivia and Bethany

Olivia and Bethany, a joyful and deeply connected queer couple, eloped to Ireland from Texas to celebrate their love in the historic beauty of Athassel Priory—a breathtaking ruin steeped in centuries of history. Surrounded by ivy-covered stone and ancient echoes, their ceremony was heartfelt and deeply personal. One of the brides had written a poem which she shared with me read, setting the tone for a day filled with emotion and intention. They included an oathing stone ritual, where their vows were spoken with their hands placed on a stone, symbolizing promises set in permanence. Each bride then shared personal vows, full of love, laughter, and deep commitment. It was a celebration not only of their love, but of authenticity, courage, and the sacred act of choosing one another—forever.
